De-escalation is a behaviour that is intended to prevent escalation of conflicts. Violence and aggression are extremely unpleasant and worrying for most people. The NNTC De-escalation Training Course will empower staff to be able to deal with it effectively if the need arises. This course can include basic breakaway techniques if required.

Aim
Across the half-day or full-day workshop, staff will be given skills and strategies for managing challenging situations of violence and aggression in a safe ethical and professional manner.
